Despite the fact that Corban's carseat takes up well more than a third of the back bench of the car (allowing only one other person to sit in the back, two if and only if they measure no more than 15" shoulder to shoulder), I have been quite pleased with it. He doesn't get uncomfortable in it, and it's size allows him to see out of the front windshield as the two back passenger windows. One area this has aided in is Corban's ability to tell where we are going. He knows all of the familiar routes to and from our house, the Smith grandparents', and Quintin Ellsworth's, Arbys... you know, the important places.
On one particular trip home just a few weeks ago, Logan passed the street where we usually turn to take a side street. "We not goin home?" Corban asked.
"We are," said Logan. "We're just taking a different route. Like the wisemen. You know which wisement I'm talking about? The ones who took a different way home?"
Corban tilted his head and thought for a moment, "No, Daddy," he responded as he slammed his fist into the palm of his other hand. "The wiseman, him built his house on a rock!!"
