That's right!! We had an ultrasound on Oct 15 and found out that our second baby is a girl!! Logan was there, as was Lani (Ayers... see Ayers to the Throne under bloglist). The tech wasn't terribly impressive (she was really negative, to put it NICELY), but heck, her loss.
I came home and told Corban (who had opted to stay back with Lani's kids rather than come to the doctor with us) that the baby in Mommy's tummy is a girl. Corban's eyes got big with delight, and then his mood sunk, and with his brow furrowed and his hands turned upward he looked at me and said, "I already told you that!!"
Corban has been VERY insistent from the beginning that this baby is a girl, which we were all more than willing to agree with.
For some reason though, Corban now says, "We're having a baby, AND a girl!!" Hmm...
Corban was also very insistent that the baby be named "River" ... until now. Now, he would like to name the baby "Noah."
Our baby is a bit anti-social. We have felt her move (first time on Sunday, Oct 26), but we have to prod at her to do so. Even then, she tends to just move from the area that you're poking over to the otherside of the waterbed.

only going to maybe punch you slightly through the internet since you are pregnant for NOT CALLING ME WITH THIS INFO,...but be prepared for when i see you in person and you are NOT pregnant...you're gonna get it....congrats anyhow. there is nothing like a baby girl. i should know. or maybe i should say i don't know. i don't know otherwise.
